"Mosqvich" (mosqvich)
08/17/2013 at 16:43 • Filed to: Veneno, Quail, Lamborghini, Henchmen | 1 | 51 |
Update : This is the preproduction model, and then there will be three built and the chances of any of us seeing one on the open road are somewhere between Slim and None and Slim is out of town. This fighting bull features twelve-cylinders displacing 6.5 liters, a snappy 7-speed ISR transmission with 5 driving modes and permanent all-wheel drive, and don't forget its racing chassis with pushrod suspension and horizontal spring/damper units. Stephan Winkelmann and his henchmen, ahem, girls, are jealously guarding the fierce bull.

Those girls are actually to my likening over the models that I always see at automotive conventions. Actually Lamborghini is really the only auto manufacturer I see using models that don't look so ugly in the face.
Although the girls in the pictures above probably don't look so great with the sunglasses off. What's that called again?

Man, I am really bad at English. You see, there's a adjective I remember reading somewhere that describes girls who look great with those big sunglasses on, but when they take them off, all hell breaks loose. That what I hope somebody might have the answer to...

What's that green thing on his wrist? Why doesn't his suit fit? Why is he wearing brown shoes with a blue suit? So many questions.
At least Dieter Zetsche knows how to wear a suit without looking like a 20-year-old at his first job interview (or court appearance).

I can only imagine the conversation you'd be forced to have with the humorless asshole cop that pulls you over in that. He'll spend an hour trying to find a reason to tow it, write a bunch of nuisance tickets and then talk down to you like you're some sort of retard the whole time. I hate to say it but cops have ticketed the love of cars like this right the fuck outta me. I'd be happier with an 80's Volvo wagon with an LS9 in it. Thanks for the 'freedom' Amerika!

the angle of the front end makes it seem as if the whole thing has fallen off and is resting on the ground. also the hood looks pretty long. weird design choices for such an expensive car that nobody will ever get to see.

Green thing is possibly a laminate dongle thing, rather than on his neck, he wore it one his wrist.
His suit is the new "hipster fit" which is made to look like a combo of thrift shop in that it won't fit perfect and expensively trendy name brand crap.
Brown is the new black as far as neutral colors go, but still don't wear it with black, you will be mocked openly.

This is a reskinned Audi R18, right?
Just like the Audi R8 is a reskinned Gallardo.

I have to agree here. I understand Lambos are supposed to be about flash and image and are more fashion-conscious than the more performance-focused Ferrari... however, this right here went from "over the top" to "tacky shitbox" in my view.

Herr Winkelmann has to be the most Italian German I have ever seen. Its like Audi looked at a template for what they thought the boss of Lamborghini needed to look like and built themselves one with racing stripes.

I'm not nutsy about it, as Lamborghinis go, but hey, after the Pontiac Aztec, how bad could it be by comparison? At least it (probably) goes really, really fast.

I just got back from a trip to Italy (visiting a vendor). Passed through Modena, as it happens. Why do you feel a trip to Italy necessary before commenting on clothes?
It was far too hot for a suit, but I have to suffer for my style :-)

Green thing looks like some kind of entrance band to the event as the girls have it too. Suit looks like it was tailored and fits very well. Brown shoes with blue suit is the only way to do it! I'm not sure why you're hating on the guy but his wardrobe looks great

Noted and updated. This one is indeed the pre-production model and the one Lamborghini will keep for themselves. From Lamborghini:
The vehicle on show is the number 0, the Lamborghini test vehicle. Its future has not been determined yet, but it will allow Lamborghini to continue its activity of testing and innovation, both on the road and on the race track. The trilogy made of three unique vehicles will be produced in the course of the year 2013 and handed over to their future owners.
