My Nokia Lumia 920 was having some serious connectivity and over-heating issues. I finally convinced ATT that no, it's not supposed to get that hot and drain the battery in only a couple hours.

My warranty replacement arrived yesterday. M$ is retarded. The only time you can restore from a backup of your phone is during the initial set-up, and before you connect to a Wifi network.

I finally got it restored from my backup, but now it is just waiting for stuff to download from the M$ store, and it won't connect to the Wifi here at work. I have my data plan turned off as I'm near my limit.

I really like this phone and the OS, but sometimes M$ just does stuff that makes no sense whatsoever. Would it have been so hard to have a backup file saved to my computer to restore from? For fuck's sake, Apple even does that on God Damn Windows!

Fuck You Microsoft and AT&T.

I had an iPhone, and was tired of the dated and boring interface.

I just want M$ and Nokia to make phones that work. No one cares about saving to the "cloud". I want to backup to my pc, and restore from there if I need to.

M$ made a good OS, if they would actually keep developing for it instead of making a half-assed product and then giving up when it's not perfect from the start.
