Gizmodo recently asked their commenters what their first post on Gawkerverse was.
I've just set up a auto scrolling rig (a Hot Wheels M3 E30 Evo III with one wheel on the Command key and another wheel on the down key with a SAS Drive and a book on top of it) and found out the oldest post on this account (I had a burner account before this one):

Stuck an eraser on the "end" key and balanced a stapler on top to get to the bottom of my comment list. I find it difficult to believe this is my first post...only cuz I'm sad it was ignored.

No need to create a scrolling rig. Took me about a minute to find it by changing the numbers in this URL: http:// InsertUsernameHere . kinja.com/private/mine?startTime=1335536962858&maxReturned=7 I wound the second and third digit down to 29.

My list on my only goes as far back as April of this year I think I was commenting in 2010 maybe even earlier.

I wrote a script that hit page down repeatedly and went to the bathroom.

But...but...LET ME EXPLAIN!

I wasn't driving when I was at school! My buddy started me on Giz in h.s. and I carried it into college (and I bought my first smart phone in my final year) so it made sense...but all the good commenters started leaving, getting banned, or began to suck.

Then I found Jalopnik and, more recently, the Nirvana that you all call Oppo. Love it.

Found it! all I had to do was hold the "End" Key for a couple of minutes and I got there. Its from 2008 regarding the discovery of a massive muscle car graveyard in RI.

I tried looking for some code. Where did you get the URL to change? Wherever I go on the private section, there never is code on the URL to begin with.

Scroll down through your posts a bit, until you have to click 'show more'. Click on one of your posts, then hit 'back' and the url will be one like I posted. Be quick though because the useful bit of code will drop off the URL shortly after the page loads.

It changes pretty quickly. As soon as the page loads fully the URL reverts to the shortened version. Maybe the slight sluggishness of my aging laptop is helping me here. I got it to work on your page and snagged the url:

That's a rare machine! Last time I saw one of these was with a consultant at VW 2 years ago. 6 years is a long time for any machine.

That's one of the reasons why I love this old thing of mine so much. The coolers are making more noise than my neighbor's Clio, but it's running very smooth, still.

Nothing, the guy that ran the joint was off his rocker. When I asked about the 66' Cuda and a couple other decent pieces that I had clearly seen pictures of, he told me he had nothing, and what he ended up showing me was the worst of what he had. On top of that he wouldn't let me explore unaccompanied and his prices were ridiculous, he wanted $4500 for a 73' challenger shell, no doors,drive train, hood, trunk, interior, nothing, just the shell. Me and a buddy went back afterwards and snuck in the back and he had some real gems back there but he was hording them and wouldn't admit he had them. while we were walking about we found almost all the rest of that 73' challenger scattered about the place hundreds of yards apart.

Yeah it was good fun for a while, but when we got close to the center where the best stuff was kept we started to hear gunshots. Thats when we booked it out of there.
