Choose Your Adventure

You see steam out the tailpipe. That gasket lasted 50k. Guess you'll make sure that water pump belt works correctly next time, eh?

Well, it's not going anywhere.

Too nice to get rid of, despite the impending costs.

At 200K miles, it's not worth much anyway.

Hence the conflict.

You see: Another car. A model with a high risk of needing a head gasket. Deja Vu.

[For illustrative purposes. You may substitute in whatever your particular favorite model's Achilles Tendon is and assume this is the procedure needed to make it work properly again, or preventive maintenance to keep the valves from being bent or such mayhem. Proving a negative. "The belt didn't break because I changed it before it did", as a TARDIS driver would explain]

Great Scott, you're right. Steam powered Stirling motor tied into the pressures ventilating into the coolant system powers a flywheel that charges the battery.

*all these parts are available but it wouldn't look factory.
