And wow, my phone sucks at picking up engine noise. It sounds like a couple of firecrackers ffs! (though it did sound a bit better with headphones)

it sounds a little like my old washing machine, at idle, from inside the car (I'm sure it's just the cellphone being unable to pick up low frequency noises)

Yes that and that stupid handbrake wire laying against the exhaust, creating the metal rattle. Maybe I should do something about it, but then again; naaah I'm to lazy to be fixing stuff now that I'm done with it.

Actually not a bad idea! I'm eventually going to have to make a driveshaft tunnel/catcher (which is basically a "U"), in order to legally dragrace it around here. Maybe I can combine the two and make so that the cable fits to it.

Hmm, Västerås will be quite a mighty journey for me, but it should still be somewhat doable, assuming nothing goes wrong... I'm gonna have to see if one of my friends is down for it also, just so I don't get stranded if something happens.

It's a slight trek (about an hour-ish drive) for me as well, but I'm also counting on going there with a friend (the aforementioned one). If you don't want to take any unnecessary risks though then that's fine!

Now then let's see here, just gonna dig up this old comment to reply... Hey it's the 24th!, that's like today dude! Yeeeeeaaaaah, I won't be making it to the meet, but it's primarily due to financial reasons. It's 5 hour drive for me up there and back which in the bird (and I hate to talk mpgs and that shit now) equates to something probably a bit north of 1000 kr in gas. That's sadly money I can't afford to spend at the moment :( just wanted to let you know.

Don't worry about it man, I kinda realized that it was a bad idea to begin with after I asked. There'll be other meets!

I'm going to drive there with my GT-FOUR Carlos Sainz-driving friend (who is moving to the UK on Sunday, so it's really is the last minute!) using a longer alternate route due to warnings about an anticipated heavy Rozzer (Po-Po) presence on the E18. It's going to be quite the adventure, and I'm still not quite used to driving in the dark... Yikes!
