Do you disable ESP or whatever BMW calls it? Or do you just push the button?

the 95 M3 didn't have it at all (my current yellow M3 is a 95)

.........on my old 97 M3, I did have the system and i would just push the button.......Eventually, I had the whole system's hardware removed from the 97 M3

Last year I had a blue Lotus Elise. This year a Black RX-8 (had a kid). Haven't had a chance to make it yet this year. Next one for sure!

Cool! I wish mine was autocrossable. Do you have an E46 steering wheel for some reason, or do my eyes play tricks?

A wheel from a Euro/1996+? I swear it's strange for some reason...

I believe the gif is throwing you off, grasshopper.... It's not from a Euro car.
... No e36 came with a perforated leather wheel from the factory

You're right, which stands to reason since you were sitting in the car. I must have been drunk. Also I figured out I could up the resolution to 720p. It's still not the same wheel as I have, but I get it now.

It's just a steering wheel from a 99 m3, rewrapped and thickened

All right, the world makes sense again.
