In the attached story an older gentlemen gets back his first car !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , a '58 Impala, after it was stolen from him 7 years earlier. Now the catch is the condition he got it back in. It wasn't a paper bag of remaining parts/empty hulk. It wasn't a beat up and mostly stripped vehicle like Jason's Bug when it was found. It was fixed up and repainted. And the guy is vexed since it's a different color, and maybe other changes, than the vehicle he bought and he may not have the time/funds to change it back into the black car he owned.

Personally I would be OK with the return since it would be nice to have it back but I would have probably moved on. Though if someone gave me my first cat back, a green '95 Sentra GXE, I would be happy to see it even if it was white since there are many memories associated with it.

So how would you feel? Would you be pleased to have it back? Would you be annoyed at the changes? Would you have moved on and not care? Something else?

Mixed. I obviously loved it the way it was. Happy to get it back, though.
