If you had the power to bring one car to America (as in magically make it officially available for purchase in the US) what would it be? Also, on the other hand you have the power to keep one car from coming to America forever or send one that is already available to whence it came. What would be your choice?
My thelepatic powers tell me that there's going to be a lot of drooling over quick Audis and BMWs and and equal amount of Smart bashing, but maybe you'll surprise me. ;)

I'd bring the Fiat Panda and send away the Nissan Murano Cross Cabriolet.

O.k. I'm not going to go with my typical answer of an RS Avant because realistically I can never afford them. However an A4 3.0TDI with a 6-speed would make me a very happy man-
Oh and England—-you can keep it-

Well, since the F-150 is American it'd be hard to send it back to its home country.

I know, but that wasn't the point of the question. The question was what foreign car would you like to bring and what car would you prefer to keep in its domestic market.

OK well in that case, get rid of the STI Impreza. I'm sick of hearing everyone talk them up like they are the fastest cars on the road.

I'd kick the Mini Cooper Coupe out because I'm not a fan of the baseball cap roof, though I like the ragtop version.
I'd bring the Toyota 86 here, making it available in all four trims (RC, G, GT, and GT Limited). I wanted the Toyobaru to come Stateside as a Toyota and, if I remember correctly, it only came here as a Scion solely to increase the brand's sales and make it look good on paper.
I have nothing against the FR-S as a car (since it is the same car) or care about any dudebro stereotypes of the brand, but if Scion's limping along and mostly kept going by sales to enthusiasts who only want the Toyobaru, why not just shutter it and throw the 86 into the Toyota lineup? I can't imagine most mainstream buyers in a Toyota showroom shaking their heads at it just because it's not a hybrid.
