I loved watching them fly when I lived in Florida. Such majestic creatures.

They really are. I've seen quite a few of them in CO, but I've only seen two Golden Eagles. They are really big.

Did it start singing The Star Spangled Banner while fireworks went off and a giant American flag appeared in the sky behind it?

I was at 10,000 feet.........cooler and breathtakingly beautiful! We saw the back side of Pikes Peak, and it had a dusting of snow on it.

I'm dying to get out west someday. The Apps are great, but they top out at ~6,000 ft.

C'mon $kay, you been living in CO for a while. Eagles should be old hat to you. They are to me. :)

I don't think I even see one a year. Now deer are another story. I've probably seen thousands of them, and they should be old hat, but I never tire of seeing them. I saw a doe and her fawn before I left town this morning just several blocks from my home.
