Welcome to the new game, "Guess the speed limit".
The rules are simple - I post a photo of a street/road and your job is to guess what is the speed limit in that particular spot. Please make sure to include units (kph or mph) in your guesses. Since the area where I live uses metric units I will be rounding up the answers in miles per hour to the nerarest number ending with 0 or 5.
We start off with an easy one:
Rewards for getting it right include satisfaction and a virtual pat on the back.
Good luck!
EDIT
gavinski91 got it right. The limit is 70 kph, which is about 45 mph (43.5 to be exact).

That is the correct answer. Congratulations.
The speed limit is 70 kph or 45 mph (43,5 to be precise).

No traffic, left lane, the answer is flat out.

This street is still between city limits (and doesn't go out of the city), so going flat out is probably not the greatest idea.

Just making a funny. :) I would not go flat out on any road.

The correct answer is stupid slow. All speed limits are. They are designed around the lowest common denominator of driver (idiots/invalids/stay at home moms) and then reduced another 10 MPH for good measure.

An English friend of mine is always shocked how low the speed limits are around where I live.

England may have lower speed limits and cameras every 50ft, but they are still much higher than the US on average. It's really quite sad what all this "for your own good" nonsense has done to the country. I guess the meek did inherit the earth... then they covered everything in warning labels, passed legislation to make it illegal to be different, and tried to shoe horn everyone into the same level of idiocy.

Speed limits are really weird in England. The national speed limit is 60 mph, which is about as high as it gets anywhere, but their motorways are limited to 70, and that's extremely low.
As for the speed cameras, England may have some, but they have very, very few compared to the numbers we have here (Poland).

100 km/h or 62 mph? Outside congested areas, that's the assumed speed limit in Germany.

Never mind, 70 km/h.
I cheated.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think 45 mph is right for the road in this case. A 4 lane road divided with a grass margin, minimal curbing, about 8-10 feet wide, 90 mph closing speed, any faster and there would be horrific accidents.

In Poland a built up area doesn't end when there aren't any buildings around. It ends when a sign tells you so. This road, according to Polish law is in a built up area.

This road is actually way wider than it looks in that photo.

The width of the road doesn't matter, the margin is what matters. The greater the separation between traffic traveling in opposite directions, the lesser the disorientation experienced by drivers. Even if the margin was 15 feet wide, any vehicle going out of control would not be slowed significantly before entering traffic traveling in the opposite direction.

That's true, but then again there's little there to cause a loss of control. It's a straight bit of road.
I don't disagree that a limit of 70 kph is appropriate there, especially as this road is in what's still considered a built up area.

You're forgetting the human factor. If there is one thing you can count on it's the fact that humans will constantly screw up anything they attempt. Hydroplaning, heart attack, texting, adjusting the stereo, yelling at the kids in the back seat, all it take is a momentary lapse of concentration for someone to lose control of their vehicle and careen across the median.
