You guys do realize, such a car would probably be in Corvette/M3/Cayman territory, in terms of pricing, right?

Somehow I don't get the vibe that Toyota is going to knock a home run out of the park at 35-40K.

they are probably going to try to shoot for GT-R, or just shy of GT-R's pricing, in the 48 (token amount under 50K to start), up to nearly 70K loaded.

Especially if it is going to be shared with the IS-based Lexus Coupe, and put any market distance between this and FRS/GT-86.

Does Toyota (or Lexus) have a RWD platform they could use? Would they try to use the Scion FR-S or maybe the Lexus IS models?
