There is a local news story here in Tucson about a man that !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! while attempting to flee a traffic stop. I guess I am just jaded from all of the stories that come out of Florida, but that hardly seemed worth a mention on here... until I read that he was still able to get away from the cops.
And it is not like the car just grazed him or something, according to the news story, he tried to jump out the window of the still moving car, got his foot caught and the rear tire of the car RAN OVER HIS ENTIRE TORSO, and then he still managed to successfully get up and evade the cops on foot. I know that, without seeing how exactly it went down, I should withhold judgment, but seriously, as a cop, how the eff do you get outrun by a guy that just ran himself over with his car right in front of you?
