I can see if they were non tech-friendly, They would take their point&shoot, wash the bike, and take several photos. Either that, or take photos with their phone, and email them to themselves one at a time, or take their phone to CVS have have the machine print off photos they can scan into their computer, or get them on a CD.
Either way, the photos might not be good, but you would at least see some effort.
This is laziness, with a little bit of "zero fucks given"
"Here's a photo, what else do you expect from me?"

Yeah, not only is it a bloody screen cap, it's also in vertical mode... Darn it GUY, your eyes aren't on TOP of one another are they? HUH? No, they sit on either side of the nose yeah? Like HORIZONTAL yeah?

I think he was putting the ad together, had one photo from three years ago, and texted his buddy and said, "Hey, u got that pic u took of me this spring?"

Haha, that might be it :) I just HATE it when people take vertical photos/videos, unless them be portraits that is.
But on another note, what do they even THINK when they make ads like this? Do they really think that an out of focus, out of frame and wrong "mode" picture actually add something positive to an ad?

Many of us have a box in our pocket with limitless knowledge and information on it.
We use it to look at cat memes and take crappy photos.
