Every car in ForzaVista?

I hadn't realized this was going to be a thing. This makes me think that all the quirky cars that I love so much, like the delivery van, rape van, squire, el dorado, etc, might be cut. Personally, I don't give two shits about autovista, I just REALLY want the variety.

But fuck, I'll probably buy it no matter what, because open wheeled cars, even better physics and amazing graphics (look at the weave wrap around the diffuser! and even cooler, look at those blemishes on the skirts! jawlz!)[ !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ]. Still, after Horizon, my faith in the Forza franchise is a little shaken (yes, I know it was a different studio, but still), so they better get this right, or at least have the awesome cars in DLC like they did for Fourza.

Also, mini rant, give me the SR3. If you cant change tire diameter, I don't want a frickin' V8 in my track car, because I don't like making massive tuning compromises to keep temps sane. Also, one might be able to race it in R3, which would be pretty rad. Pretty please? It's got the same bodywork (minus canards) and everything!

I think it's a safe bet that all cars that were new in FM4 as well as the ones available through DLC will be included in FM5.

I personally can't wait to look around my Galant VR4 and Alfa 155 in stunning... FORZAVISTA .

I'm super excited about FM5, but I really hope I have the money to buy it and an Xbox One come winter...

Also: have they shown any of the older/"normal" sports cars that will be in the game? I could give less of a damn about hypercars like the P1 and LaFerrari.

That reminds me- I can't get over how awful they made the NA Miata sound in Forza 4. It sounded so bad that I couldn't make myself keep it, and I sold it.

Then I re-bought it and put a rotary in it. Much better.

Yeah I hate how they made the BP engine sound too, but it's such an amazing car in B class and below that I can't bring myself to sell it. I used to have an insane S class rotary build when I had just bought the game and was still playing with assists on, which made it playable. Now that I play with manual w/ clutch and no assists it's absolutely impossible to control, even when detuned to A class, so I decided to keep it in a rather tame (at least compared to the rotary) 2.0L stroker B class tune which beats pretty much everything.

Rotaries don't sound that good in FM4 either to be honest, although they did get the idle right.

Forza 5 is going to be amazing. It's a shame that the Xbox One is such a disappointment with it's always on kinect and other crap.

That's another thing I don't like about Forza- tire size restrictions. I built an S-class NSX and tested it on the Bernese Alps course (where I do most of my testing) and made a really good lap time (don't remember exactly what it is) and every time I re-ran the lap, on the second to last corner (the downhill with the huge elevation change, right after the jump) I would wreck because of my raised rear damper stiffness and the bouncing/loss of traction it would cause. Made me very angry. That car has so much potential, but the game only ever let me put a 255(?) on the rear.

Then I bought an F50 and ran the course more than a second faster on the first hot lap, all because I could run 275f/325r (I think).

They should have a special modification you can buy that flares your fenders or something. Oh, also, buy a Sierra Cosworth and apply every upgrade possible. Should max out at 700 (to get there, larger wheels/"rims"). Oversteer everywhere, and so much fun.

Strongly agreed on that! I've been toying with the fender flare idea myself, and concluded that they're really going to have to add it to the game sooner or later because the tire dimension problem is so big that you basically hit an insurmountable brick wall that shouldn't be there.

Also, fender flares (whether bolted on, box or regular) look awesome on pretty much any car, so it's also a styling thing.

That's a really simple fix, imo, and they could put it in the area where all the bodykits and splitters/spoilers are. They could even add a note that says, "increases maximum allowable tire width," or something.

Exactly what I was thinking as well, it really shouldn't be that difficult to add.

Please GTFO with that FUD.

Kinect might always be on as a microphone, but it's not always recording. Unless you seriously think there is enough bandwidth in the world to allow all Kinect cameras to send their audio and video to US Gov servers (hint:there isn't)

As far as all the other nonsense, what other nonsense? Their online check has been dropped, so has the digital download requirements. If anything the One is now more attractive compared to the PS4.

We're allowed to have opinions, just keep the false statements at bay.
