It's not greyed out anymore because it got recommended by someone that is approved on the FP.

Wasn't greyed out for me either. But how do you get approved for the front page ? I've always been greyed out

I’ve decided to just give up. I’ve been posting on Jalop for several months and can’t get ungreyed. It’s a pity because Jalop could be the greatest online community of car nuts— and instead it’s the best community of 500 ungreyed out commenters and totally worthless for anyone else to contribute. Screw it— not worth my time to post, or anyone who just remains in the grey in perpetuity.
