Someone who studied (supposedly) two years came up with this counterpoint.

What I am saying is you accelerate adjust the speed of the wheels for speed preservation and reducing wheel deterioration. It is possible to do all those in an electric car where the axles are separated and allow for more control in individual wheel acceleration. You are fixated on a two axle design that you aren't able understand that you can change the speed of the individual wheels to that they will wear less and evenly. With a two axle design(On in front, one in back) the front two tires cannot spin freely of each other, thus you will have wear on the tires because they will have to spin at the same speeds. With individual axles, a four axle design, you can move the wheels so the outside wheels can get over their ground(which they will have to travel further in the turn) faster, while the inner wheel(Which only travels a short distance) can travel slower and finish its length with the outer wheel.

interesting. I'm just sitting here going "I'm not bothering stepping into this argument, LOL"

As it turned out, the same person who made that counterpoint said it's better to have electric motors in all wheels. While the idiot called my friend said "How can you basically steer with AWD? And having no steering ration, no less?"

they'd probably get their mind blown by the concept of CV joints or Ackerman steering geometry.. and how it was figured out 200 years ago.

What you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

So this guy not only can't speak English, his knowledge of chassis engineering is under zero and his "theory" is insulting to those who read it.

But but but 4 wheel motors is better than 2-axle bro!
