1) I've always thought the 2000GT was really ugly. Why buy one of these when you could have a better looking E-type for much less. (more confessions after gap)

2) I really like how current gen camaros have small side windows, it looks super agressive - more cars should be like that.

Kinja'd!!!

3) I'm beginning to become annoyed at Emma, nothing on the engine swap is getting done in my predicted amount of time.

Kinja'd!!!

4) I don't follow any racing series other than F1; and even then, I never watch qualifying or practice. My favorite drivers are Kimi, RoGro, and Mark Webber

Kinja'd!!!

5) I'm rather depressed for no apparent reason and feel lonely as fuck right now

Edit: 6) This is the best gen and type of 911. I like Targas and the car looks spectacular.

I find the E-Type to be visually absurd and ludicrous and the 2000GT absolutely breathtaking...

Go figure, lol.

And that's exactly why I posted this. The general populous loves the 2000GT, I just don't see its appeal.

That is the only view that I think looks good on that car. The front just ruins it for me.

I feel the exact same way about the E-Type, haha.

1)I can see liking one more than the other, but ugly......

2) Concurred. They've never been easy to see out of no point in making a big deal about now.

3) It never goes as planned.

4)Practice is meh, but is just F1 porn. Qualifying is awesome and can be as exciting as races sometimes.

5) If it helps, you're covered in probably millions of organisms so you've got plenty of company.

6) It's a good one for sure.

The headlights on the 2000GT always have put me off. The rest of it is ok, but not enough to make me want it.

I don't watch any racing whatsoever. Never got into it, still can't. (And yet, I can sit and watch an entire CFL game featuring teams I don't really care about. Weird.)

Yo yo yo yo, I'm happy for you and all, and I'mma let you finish, but the 2000GT is one of the most beautiful cars of all time. OF ALL TIME.

1. I completely agree with you on the 2000gt , Its ok looking but its got nothing on the Jags/Astons/Fords/Alfas even the corvette of the same era, in terms of looks.

Kinja'd!!!

1968 Iso Griffo for example!

2. Its nice from the outside, but after a while it can be annoying from the inside. especially in city traffic!

3. Hang in there with her, Nothing will ever go to plan when working on a project especially one as massive as an engine swap. Once your done the victory and accomplishment will be that much sweeter. This is coming from experience:

The above picture was taken at 1:30 am, when my neighbor asked me to stop hammering( I thought it was 9:30pm, time flies when your swinging a deadblow like your Thor for 4 hours )

Can't speak to all the points (mainly because I forget what they all are), but the important ones I'll answer.

The engine swap: Keep at it. Slow and steady progress is how these things get done. I hate all the shows that do these engine swaps in "days." False senses of hope. Those shops have a lot of workers, way more access to parts and overall, just more experience. Speaking from someone who's working on a 350 into an RX-7 swap right now, and has worked on his fair share of motor builds and swaps before, just keep at it. Don't be afraid to spend money where needed, but also make stuff yourself when possible. And go watch some videos of what the final product is supposed to be, it'll get you stoked to work on it.

As for loneliness? We've all been there. I've been feeling pretty disheartened myself with a lot of shit that's been going on in my life, but find the things that make you happy and do them. This can work out wayy in your favor. I love working on cars and making things, so when I get down, I go out to the garage or the shop and do something. Channel loneliness into productivity. You'll feel better, and you'll get shit done.

Just my two cents. Keep on keepin on

It just looks way to crowded and the lights should be smaller fogs if anything. Too many panels.

I was under the impression it's the other way around: most people love the E, and have never heard of the Toyota.

I agree on the 2000GT I am the same in all respects. I hate targas. I am sorry you are feeling down. I wish there was something I could do.
