I had some friends (including the girl I like) over tonight. The girl I like said she would go to the movies with me... but she also wants to bring a guy friend (I don't like him) who "wants to hang out." Damn it. Tips? Have some wings as payment.

I think I may sorta have a tiny bit of advice: make as many female friends as possible. My school is literally 75% female so most of my friends are girls. If you get to be close with them, they seem to tend to help out a lot when you're affected by the feels.

Last year I really liked this girl, and she pretended to like me back. I didn't know it at the time, but she actually liked my best friend. After I found out, 3 of my closest girl friends helped me after I started to feel like shit all the time. They'd send me nice texts, treat me really well, and then once they even took their whole lunch period to decorate the entire interior of my locker with post-its with nice quotes. (They even wrote "FUCK YEAH TOP GEAR" on some of them!)

I'm about to even ask one of them out soon.

If she says no, then move on since you've got nothing left to lose if you accept that she's probably doing this as a roundabout no. If she says no to that, then there's your answer and you now know. If she says yes, you might still have a chance.
