I think I would actually prefer this over an AE86, as it seems hard to find one unmolested without ruined suspension (I would DD, not track the thing) and other modifications.

I'm not comdemning doing these modifications to cars. It's just that if I were to own one I would want it either completely stock or at least looking as such.

Yeah let me tell you from personal experince that aside from parts being s bit hard to find, a S12 makes for a great DD. The fact that they're less popular (read more jalop) also means that they're about 10x cheaper than an AE86 and that it's much easier to find an unmolested one.

All it needs are Watanabes and the Fujiwara Tofu Shop writing on the door. If a fanboy asks, say it's a US-Spec AE86, made larger to comply with the federal standards of the time.
