I hate to be that guy, but I must say that every time I see this car in person my first thought is "wow that looks better in photos."

Don't get me wrong, it does NOT look bad, it just looks so good in photos that it's a bit of tease.... Like that girl who's super hot in photos.

The E-type certainly isn't the best looking Jag of all time - barely makes the top ten. The F-type is a tarty abomination that should never have been sold with the Jaguar badge on. Was it really necessary to sell out the entire Jaguar heritage just to palm off a few F-types on Americans who don't know any better? Utterly hateful.

The XJ-S is obviously top of the list for most people. Then there's stuff like the XJ40 estate.

How about an SS100?

The Mark 2 is of course an utterly iconic design. Screams 'villains gfetting away from a bank job' to this day.

The XJR-15 is a pretty little thing:

But really, the one that no-one mentions that is an absolute stunner is the XJ220:

After the XJ13. Oh, and theC type, D type, XKSS, XJ220, Mk2, and possibly even the "series" XJs.

The F type's cute, but nothing nowadays can compete with the 50s and 60s. And from that era, Jag has the best back catalogue outside Italy.
