Ohhhhh i get it, its kind of a liar..built off a tuscan platform, which really doesnt mean much, as i think they're all more or less the same car (tuscan, t350c, tamora, sagaris) but the sagaris had more power, which this one does not.. which is why its $15000 less than your average sagaris haha
With that in mind, this would be the car for me!

Always hated 'murican import laws which will keep me from ever driving one.

Isn't this the company that Top Gear is always on about regarding their Excellence In The Field Of Engineering (sarcasm)?
My memory is hazy on this issue, but if a company that is British and makes cars is being made fun of for their poor engineering record, then I'll pass.

Gorgeous...
Most Sagaris models, and even T350s were fixed-roof, or had two roof hatches, not the full targa roof like Tuscan.
This is a special vehicle... but good luck for any support on it. Makes a Supra look positively commonplace and affordable.

I want that in my life. Import laws and budget be damned.

This is the car I would take when the car class of 2004 can finally be imported into the US. I love Sagarises so much, my favorite TVR.

British Engineering is pretty well synonymous with Laughable/Poor Engineering.
Brilliant Innovations, yessir. Fantastic Ideas? Hell yeah. Beautiful Asthetics, You betcha. Rock-Solid Implementation? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.
They're the ones that brought you trumpet/donut suspension on the Mini. Sure, it kinda worked, but, WTF GUYS. F'n baby carriages have more advanced suspensions designs.

Yes, the Concorde, the English Electric Lightning, the Blue Streak rocket, the Thames bridge, the work of Brunel, they're all examples of piss poor engineering.

A company that is made fun of by a comedy show . Which makes it highly irrelevant.

All Sagarises were fixed roof. The T350 is the one which was available with a double hatch as you mentioned.

The McLaren F1. Damn near every F1 car apart from Ferrari. The E-Type (don't laugh, it was the Corvette before the Corvette was about cheap speed. Faster than a Ferrari, better looking and about a quarter of the price). The chassis for the Ford GT40 (made by Lola in the UK). The series Land Rover.
Also, the suspension on the mini was incredibly space efficient, which is what the mini is all about. Plus, it helped give it the go-kart-like handling traits that made people love it (seriously, go drive one).

And Lola, Lotus, Aston Martin, and Cosworth all come to mind. Shoddy engineering indeed.

Hear, hear :)
Hell, Bentley beat Bugatti back in the day as well (6 times at Le Mans). Jaguar won Le Mans outright 7 times with the 'unreliable' XK engine, and then twice again with the V12 in '88 and '90. Aston won it once too.
Moving on from Le Mans, Aston has won FIA GT1 and GT3, 2 European Le Mans series, the Spa 24h, the Monza 1000, 2 Spa 1000s, 3 Nurburgring 1000s and the Mil Milhas. Ford of Britain has won 6 rally championships. Jaguar's won 2 Daytona 24h, 6 Transa Am championships, 1 Spa 24, 1 ETCC, 1 Bathurst 1000, 2 Nurburgring 1000s, 3 Monza 1000s, 4 Spa 1000s, 5 Silverstone 1000s and the Sebring 12h. Lotus has won 7 F1 championships, the BTCC, the Daytona 24h, the Indy 500 and the WRC. McLaren has won 8 F1 championships, the Monza 1000, 2 Suzuka 1000s and the Mil Milhas. Rover's won Group A touring cars and Triumph's won a lot of SCCA titles with Bob Tullius. That's just production marques, not including racing-specific outfits like Ginetta and BRM.
Furthermore, 3 cars that held the title 'fastest production car in the world' were British (XK120, XJ220 and F1), which combined held the title for 17 years. That's second only to Italy with 28 years for 8 cars, and over Germany with either 8 years or 13 depending on whether you count the Veyron as German.
God, I can prattle on about that can't I? :)

Actually, reading the ad...
This is actually a targa Tuscan S *converted* to a Sagaris body and specification.

I'll agree with the British having a unfortunate history with cars, but as listed above, they make wonderful airplanes and other things. Also, Cosworth. Hell yes Cosworth.
But I will always think of the H16 engine and BRM in general when I think of British racing and autos.

Wait, you come up with a single example of a car (that has heard no complain of whatsoever) after being given a million reasons of why you're wrong?
You're so cute. I want to make you a nice little cap. A pointy one at it.

Being wrong is fun.
I'd look awesome in one of those hats, and I'm sure the British even developed a doorway that would allow me to pass unimpeded.
