Kinja'd!!!

Just saw about 6 of these on I-85 in North Carolina. 5 of the 6 The cars towing were dodge grand caravans with Mexico licence plates. Something about this seems really sketchy, what do y'all think,

Also sorry for the crappy photo. I took it with my iPotato

What was really weird was that one of the Mexican caravans had like 3 Obama stickers on the back. I guess they must have bought all of those vans at auction to use for their business.

If you park on a highway heading towards Mexico, you will see these passing all the time. After 10 years, one could pass vehicles to Mexico or central/south America. They get them cheap here and sell the cheap down there. Nothing sketchy at all buddy. They do look odd one towing the other back to back, but people have been doing it like that longer than I could remember. Usually those are headed to border towns or northern cities. Anything headed futher is sent on a 18 wheeler. Odd looking yes, but nothing sketchy, don't believe everything the news says lol :]

Most of the ones you see here are stolen diesel P/U's heading to Mexico. They use the engines for agricultural uses, irrigation pumps, etc.

Years ago, I worked at a Mitsubushi truck dealer in Ct. when we would get crappy trade in trucks with rust or hi mileage that would be tuff to sell, we would call up a guy + offer it to him. It would get sold-and driven to Hounduras. I guess the rules are more lax down there.

Car Dealer here. This is a common occurrence at Auctions in Ohio. Most of the time they flat tow the cars buy pulling off the back bumper cover and bolting on a tow bar. This combo does seem to fail quite often, surprisingly, leading to Grand Caravans careening into medians and fences along I75 South.

I'm pretty sure that most of the vans were missing their back bumper and were flat towing the cars. What was scary was that these vans were going above 75 mph.
