Which is in the Netherlands and saw a Seat with a huge Hoonigan sticker on it. It also had a fartcan muffler.

Also tons of diesel station wagons and I saw a pretty neat looking Nissan Patrol.

Among the station wagons I really like the Peugeot 508, nice looking car.

My first day here I also saw a Tesla plugged in at a charger next to a Chevy Volt. Also spotted an Ampera, haha.

During the 14 years I lived here I never knew how jalop all these cars were. But not every year that I go back I see all kinds of gems, haha.

Close to my home, an hour north from Zwolle, there's a stanced e46 BMW 3-series which looks like an M3 (but is probably a 316i or 318d) with a hoonigan sticker. It's the only stanced car I'm familiar with in real life and the only hoonigan sticker I've seen as well.

About the Jalopness of vehicles; everything can qualify. Almost all cars you spotted were bought for economical, practical or image reasons. Just like most cars everywhere else. Someone familiar with EU market vehicles will say the same things about cars you consider mundane at best in NA.

Electric cars and plugin hybrids can be leased extremely cheap in the Netherlands, most due to governmental stimuli. For this reason you'll see quite a lot of them here. In November this year the best selling vehicle was the Mitsubishi Outlander P-HEV plugin hybrid, outselling the #2 vehicle almost 2:1. Why? Because it's become so insanely cheap. No one in their right mind would buy an Outlander if they had to pay the actual price.

Thanks for the clarifier. I would have spent forever wondering why there were so many European cars in a small town in western Louisiana.
