He finished my exhaust for me! Thanks, dad!
One problem though, my car is quiet now.
Too quiet.
It no longer sounds like Thor playing the saxophone.
Please stop me from buying a different muffler. Or point me to a good, but inexpensive one.

For what car?
For me the cheapest thing is always a muffler/resonator delete.

I'll trade you. But really, congrats on getting that fixed.

My dad said he'd get me my headers and partially pay for my exhaust for my birthday :>

My 1996 328i. I have already removed my resonators. But, I still have my stock muffler with the vacuum line plugged.

I have a friend who walked into a parts store and asked for the "biggest, bro-est" filter they had. He ended up with a gigantic cone filter. Which he put in his car. The car is a gen1 CR-V. :D

If you're mostly interested in sound (which is all you'll notice anyway) just go to a non-chain muffler shop and have them weld on something off their wall. It's way cheaper than getting a designed after market exhaust and you can pick the tube size and tips.

Mine is actually very reasonably sized and the engine fan is constantly blowing air over it.

Put a cut out in, flip the switch and loud it gets! I have done it on a couple cars. I have the other one go straight to a side pipe.

If all you're after is sound, get some glass packs. Or some good flow through mufflers. Look up Dynomax. They have cheap glass packs (like $40/muffler) and some fairly cheap flow-through mufflers ranging from around $60-$120.
