So you may have seen my post about my old car over you'r new car on oppo a while back . I am grateful for the awesome comments and recommendations from all of the jalopnik community . Its nice when people who know what they are talking about compliment something I've worked very hard on and for that thank you all !

Now just because this is my third alternator job in the last 6 months doesn't mean my cars not reliable just that it spits a little oil and when oil gets on alternator ... well that's it . So hopefully I get my LS Swap done soon which brings me to my next point .

Anybody got a Late model GM V8 for sell ???? I'm in Texas and can travel to come pick it up .. and I'm open to just about any of them from a 4.8 to a 7.0 not that I could afford the 7.0 but I can dream right ?

Someone had a post about a near free LS1 or LS3 a while back. Finding a Chevy 2500 Express and changing a couple bits, then selling the body on.

I've been getting jerked around (not in a good way ) by a guy who has a 5.3 with a cam and ls1 heads that have been worked ... he wants $650 the problem is the fucker doesnt need the money so he isnt very motivated to drive across town to help me get the motor out of the shop .

Well then fuck him lol. You probably don't want that motor anyway. I've seen people get junkyard 5.3s for $300 and DIY Turbo build for around a grand. Not saying you will, but it has been done!

check out lkqcorp.com type in your zip and they will find motors I searched for 99 silverado motor cuz they are the cheapest. but it is an iron block motor.

Where is it not leaking from .. on a serious not I dont put too much effort into the L28E because it will be coming out of the car soon enough so if she wants to spit a little oil burn a little leak a little anti freeze I'll let her cause her life is almost over .

I'd be perfectly happy with ANY Aluminum block GM V8 .. the big deal is that the cars weight is what makes it quick .. the stock 6 Cylinder is Cast Iron and Heavy as fuck so if I can change that to a aluminum V8 I'll have practically no weight change .. just more power .. The Cast Iron V8 should weight about 80-100 lbs more which I rather not .

Also made it to the Z car meet here in town and was dissapointed by how many pleated khaki , polo wearing nerds there were that just want to plan a drive into the middle of no where to goto a wine tasting and come back ... I'm 24 I dont want todo that .. lets do a cruise to the strip club snort some coke off of some fake tits then go for a drive .. I dont think they would be into this .

it sounds great .. I enjoy cruising through down town Austin at 5am when no ones on the streets and I can hear my car popping and banging off the hard glass buildings .. its pretty epic and loud .. I need to post a sound clip on here but IDK how.

Well if your buddy is in Austin I'd love to meet him .. I definatley need parts for my old Z car but its also my daily driver and out of the 30+ old Z's in the club here I think I'm the only one that daily drives his .. but I'm not in the club either lol

not that I've found the one I did find he wanted 2000 bucks for it .. I already have a T56 Transmission , A clutch , a wiring harness, and a ECU ... so I need a motor and mounts
