There's something about the vehicles from Jurassic Park that makes fans want to replicate them. Here are all the Jurassic Park liveried vehicles I could find around the web.
There are two vehicle designs in the original film. My personal favorite is the gray and red 1992 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. The Wrangler has been very accurately replicated by several fans ( !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , pictured above, is one of the best). You can read all about building the perfect Wrangler on !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . The other design, used on the Ford Explorer tour vehicles, is green and yellow with red stripes and seems to be the most commonly replicated livery.
A lot of the pictures I found are actually screenshots from games like Forza, so I've kept them separate from the photos of real vehicles. If I've missed a JP liveried vehicle, please add it in the comments.

Apart from the replica Wranglers, my favorites are the Crown Vic and the Baja Bug. The Crown Vic appears to have been a police cruiser in its past life. The Bug is just awesome.

Number 18 on the first list is a Geo I think. It says "Georassic Park" on the side. Lol

Good luck escaping from a vicious T-Rex in a Prius.

I see one running around central Delaware all the time, it's a Wrangler.
![]() 12/29/2013 at 12:53 |

#14 is a Geo Tracker or Suzuki Sidekick, not a Samurai.

Definitely a Ford F-Series of 1970s-80s vintage.

My Disco was jp themed, but I couldn't afford the whole business. And it ended up just looking like I loved monster energy drinks. Meh.

All of the cars pictured except the first Wrangler need to be put out to pasture and set on fire.

I wish I had a picture of my neighbors from back in the day. about 15 years ago he had a samurai painted up in jurassic park colors, and the logo on the side, but it said jurassic bitch. He got hell all the time from the police, changed it many times.

I have one of these (yes thats my finger).
It's the one that the baddie was driving who was trying to steel the DNA samples who crashed during his escape.
![]() 12/29/2013 at 14:01 |

Awesome. I want to get one of those.
![]() 12/29/2013 at 14:02 |

Yeah, that counts. I was just considering the liveries used in the first film. There were a lot of cool vehicles in The Lost World .

Ford could really have a market for a new RS200 I think. Never knew they made an AWD mid engine before. If they could put something like this up in the FR-S/BRZ price range it would sell quite well I think.
![]() 12/29/2013 at 14:22 |

There is a guy who lives around me with a wrangler that looks identical to the one in the picture I always see it when I go to bass pro.

The entire car is pretty obviously a shop. The website's name is on the car, kinda a dead giveaway.

When I lived in Hawaii I think I saw a movie car, I know the Magnum PI Ferrari is around and has Magnum as the plate, also the old Hawaii Five O car is around and has bookem as the plate. Oh and a few Rangers from Baywatch Hawaii are around. The film industry leaves a lot in Hawaii.

Awesome. I WILL have a JP Jeep someday.
You're doing FSM's work here sir. Carry on.

I wish they made lift kits for the M Class. Even stock with its crappy ground clearance , these are beasts off road.

I happened to watching one of the Jurassic Park movies recently and was reminded that they used (the then current) original series Mercedes MLs converted into 'crew-cab' pick-ups by having the rear section of the roof removed and making a pick-up tray in the boot. Now that those old M-class Mercs can be had for a song I wouldn't be surprised to see some enterprising individual turn one into a Jurassic Park-style version

I'll take the Leone (but I will admit the RS200 looks great in the JP livery).

its a baltimore food truck, tied to Midtown bbq restaurant. The food is great at both, and the sunday brunch at Midtown is awesome. Try the wild boar sausage, and yellow sauce, outstanding.

Pretty sure #16 is a Mazda B-series.
![]() 12/29/2013 at 16:46 |

You kinda forgot the original Jurassic Park Explorer. Also just a fun fact, the Ford Explorer had just been released on the American market and pretty much made the SUV as popular as it is today.

This is a Mazda B2000 pickup. Depending a bit on the engine.

That's the Knoxvegas Lowballers' mid-engined Geo Metro. Ford Duratec V6 from a Sable mated to a Contour SVT 5-speed. Exhaust exits through the old gas tank filler. Great car, great guys.

What about a Z32 300ZX?
Credit goes to Reddit user PizzaFreak22.
I prefer not to mention my opinion of this. But pretty applicable to the above.
![]() 12/29/2013 at 17:45 |

Nope. Front ends are entirely different. As is the cab.
The other posters about it were right. It's a Mazda B-pickup.

This is super cool. If anyone ever finds a well done 91-94 JP Explorer, I'm a buyer.

The Wrangler wheel makes it very classy.

I think it's an advertisement for a fan film.
![]() 12/29/2013 at 18:39 |

The background in this picture is added, but the car really is wrapped. It's a promotion for a fan film.

![]() 12/29/2013 at 18:41 |

Checks all the "waste of a Z32" boxes for me. Ugly body kit? Check. Generic wheels? Check. ugly livery? Check.
At least it's plastidip so it's reversible. And it's a non-turbo. But I still think it's an eyesore.
![]() 12/29/2013 at 19:02 |
|
This was my take on the Wrangler a while ago. Close enough I think.
![]() 12/29/2013 at 19:10 |

All wrong. The new theory on Jurassic Park Liveried Vehicles is that they had brightly colored FEATHERS, not brightly colored skin. Get with the times, Jalopnik!

Hello Mazda B2200

Yes geo metro, Georasik on the side
![]() 12/29/2013 at 19:40 |

Why
![]() 12/29/2013 at 19:42 |
|
That's what I thought too. As someone who has had both, they look very, very, very similar (tobythesandwich is right in that they are not exactly the same, but they look nearly the same) but if you zoom into the fender badge you can see it says B2200

I got to see this car win the first Nascar race I attended! The 1997 Winston which was the only race it ever performed in with it's original(now illegal) configuration! I was pretty damn excited to see it again on the floor of the Nascar Hall of Fame back in March of 2013. More on Gordon's T-Rex Here:

We have a superb replica JP Wrangler driving around Chicago that has been spotted a few times, and I talked to the owner of at a local car show a couple years ago or so. I would look for the photos of it, but I am lazy. :(

Same here. Wanted one of these so bad when I was in the 2nd grade.

If the movie was a direct carryover from the book, the tour vehicle would have been a Toyota land cruiser. I would have had a hard time watching them destroy those, than the expendable exploders they used.
![]() 12/30/2013 at 05:45 |
|
Upon closer scrutiny, I think the reflections, which are photoshopped in, are what's making me think the whole picture is. Also, the big JPOrigins thing on the back, that's shopped, or very poorly applied, as it sits lower to the bumper crease on the right side of the car than it does on the left side. Either way, fucking confusing as shit.
![]() 12/30/2013 at 06:29 |

Ah, too bad.

The Georassic Park Metro is the Knoxvegas Lowballers LeMons team from Knoxville, TN. It is a rear engine, rear wheel drive SHO Ford V6 with a manual transmission and they autocross it in the local SCCA group. It's actually super fast and fun to drive!
