I hope you're all having a joyful day today and hopefully got all that you requested. I know everyone is listing what they got for Christmas, but the Desu household wasn't really able to partake in Christmas gifts this year due to finances. So no gifts or big fancy dinner for us. We are, however, putting the projector on and inviting a few friends over for drinks, billiards/pool, and Christmas special reruns on a 9' screen, haha.

Anyhoo, go out and be festive with your friends and family, Oppo. Enjoy the day off work, haha.

We stopped really celebrating 'Christmas' a while back. No more decorations, no more tree. It just kinda felt silly to have a tree with no gifts under it, so we kinda quit bothering. Instead, we just treat Christmas kind of like a second, lesser, more annoying Thanksgiving, lol. It's just time to visit and be merry with friends and family.

Lol. We've been poor long enough to find wealth in the non-material things in life. The lack of gifts doesn't bother me anymore.

Technically they're my dad's friends, but I'm on pretty good terms with a couple of them. I'm hoping one of them who I used to work with may be able to get me a better-paying job than what I'm doing now. If he can, that's all the Christmas I need.
