I don't name my cars. But I did call my Grand Cherokee that sat out overnight in freezing rain and got covered in a 1/4" thick glaze of ice, the Jeepsicle.

You should call your S2000, Snooki. Because they both start with S and have some Os.

I just pull a name out of my ass that seems to stick. Although my jetta's name was "Das Bierwagen" because of the euro plate I got for it but it changed to "Murderous Crapcan" after it tried to kill me but failed and broke itself instead.

KALAKABOOOOM published a piece on names associated with their cars. That might help.

I named my S30 "Zoe" (Zoe-EE). Datsun 260Z. Get it? :)
Also named the 73 Celica "Celia".
For your S2K.... hmm? It's JDM so why not a Japanese name starting with "S"?
Suki? Sakura? Saori? Sake? Satsuki? Shenmue (FUCK YEAH)? Sato?

Nope, I've never named a car. Maybe it's my rural upbringing where neither livestock nor machinery were ever anthropomorphized nor sentimentalized.

Of the 10 or so cars I've owned, only 1 had a name. My 2006 Rabbit was given the name Harvey. No one got the reference but my Dad.

The car has a personality that's feminine in a way, and it will try to kill you, so I'm just thinking of what it's name is. And not all cars earn names, that's for sure
