Came out of the grocery store and noticed this face-off between two sporty sedans. I'm not really good at identifying old stuff, anyone want to help me out?

It looks like a '57 (or thereabouts) Chevy Bel Air Sedan, with some of the trim removed.

Definitely a 56 Chevy. Not sure about the trim level.

Yeah, I'm thinking a 150 just because there were more of them and are more likely to be de-trimmed and hotrodded.

Haha, who says modern cars are big and bloated?

That BMW probably weighs about twice as much.

I'm pretty sure that's a Lambo dude.
What too obvious?

That thing was supposed to be a full-size car in its days. Think Impala-sized.

A new Impala is 201" long. The 1958 Bel-Air is 209" long. Anyways, I was being facetious.
