Ok guys here is the deal. I recently got signed on for a job after over a year of interning. In the spirit of the holidays and because I'm in a good mood and because there was a steam sale I bought an extra copy of Assetto Corsa.

I'm giving it away on here.

Hopefully you are asking yourself how you can put yourself in the running?

List your computer specs (So I know you can run it)

List if you have a wheel (If so which one)

List what you would use it for (League Play, Random Online Races, Career Only, etc)

I'm going to put the top five names in a hat based on my own sorting criteria that I'm not releasing so you don't lie for the above questions. I'll draw from the hat and that person will receive ....... nothing. The second person drawn will be the grand winner. I will send the winner the game via steam once they give me their account.

Never ran windows on a MBP, even though I've had a MBP for 8 years or so. I never have really had the need to. I HATE Excel on a Mac and that is the only thing I don't like.

I have an ATV, iPad, iPhone and I like the fact that I can pseudo-automate my house from my Mac pretty easily.

First off, I know I can run it. Z77 motherboard and Radeon 7750 and quite a bit of RAM. I use a Fanatec CSR wheel and I would use it for just having fun with cars and time trials.

I'm not too sure on specifics, but,

Windows 8 64 Bit, Six core amd cpu, EVGA 570, 8 GB of RAM.

I have a Logitech G27 with pedals and shifter.

I play games like Dirt 3 and TRACKMANIA!!! As well as all types of gameplay, because TM introduced me to competitive racing.

Hm, I usually don't like butting into stuff like this, but what the heck.

I'm running an i7-3630QM @2.4GHz, 6GB ram (getting 8 for Christmas, I hope), nVidia 640M GT 2GB.

The wheel is a recently acquired used Driving Force GT with standard pedals and shifter.

Honestly, I dunno what the end product will offer, but Random Online races are a sure thing, while Leagues I can do if they have a reasonable schedule (I'm in Europe). There should be a bunch of late friday night time attacks with my buddies, when we meet at my place. That's always fun and managed to convert some Need For Speed fans into at least considering sims (GTR series, RBR... GT5.). :)

I've been following AC and heard it will be moddable, so if they let us build tracks I wanna try my hand at making something to go with my master's thesis (architecture) and let the old farts at university have a go at it. It's gonna be a racetrack, of which we currently have none in my backwater country. Maybe I can do my own little bit towards getting one at least considered to be built and lay in some free (for the potential investor) research, spark the interest and... well, you never know. :)

Wheel: Logitech G25 mounted in wooden frame built to roughly 2008 CART cockpit specifications.

Use: League Play, Random Online, Career, everything and anything as long as it's driving. Been playing rFactor for a long time and want to try something new.

Yea it is. One of the best if not the best driving sim I have ever played. Which is why I want someone else to enjoy it so badly. I already bought it for a friend and he was surprised. I just can't even guarantee that he will put time into it so I bought it again for someone that hopefully will.

i5 something 1gb graphics card not totally sure on the specs, but I have yet to find a game I can't run on at least normal settings pretty well.

I'd probably race online and drift. Loooooove me some drifting. I recently discovered an old drifting video I made on gt3 from 2003! A decade man! I'm old.....

AMD Phenom X6 1055t overclocked on water to 3.5 ghz daily, can go up to 3.8

8gb of Kingston 1600 mhz DDR3 RAM

Single 7950 overclocked (don't remember the frequency), but I plan on crossfireing it

I've usually play F1 2013 or DIRT 3. I saw people talking about Assetto Corsa on here so I definitely wanted to give it a shot

Unfortunately your under minimum specs just a tad. It isn't the most optimized game ever. Which is what you can expect from a very small team with a relatively small budget.

I have a Logitech G27 and a I would primarily play career and occasionally go online.
I built this rig specifically for racing games. Its a beefy setup but the 3 displays really tax the system. I have been waiting a while for this game to be released, it looks great. Good pc racing sims are few and far between.

You didn't mention when the contest ends but...If it's still good to go...

I've got a AMD 6-core 3.2ish (not at my computer at home, so I cant grab the specific numbers, but I'm pretty sure that's right.),

EVGA GTX-460 Graphics card (Don't recall the specifics, but it played the new Far Cry like a champ

8 Gigs of RAM

Windows 7 x64.

I don't have a wheel, but if I had a PC racing game (like AC) I'd buy one (because steering with the keyboard controls are bullshit)

I'd do Career first, and if I could manage to get any good, would totally take a crack at league play.
