Going to start it later today. GTA IV is the only GTA game that I've played, so I figure most stuff will be familiar, but are there still any tips/tricks that you guys have to share?

Fun thing to do, take a vehicle all the way out to the edge of the map. Just keep going until something happens.
Also add me on PSN: msayani21

Escaping the cops is significantly more difficult than it used to be. Plan stupid things accordingly!

I didn't like getting hassled by the cops in Midnight Club: Los Angeles . I hope the LSPD isn't as persistent.

the cops give up pretty quickly if you can hide in a parking deck or an alley. If you're out in the desert, it's a bit harder to find a hiding place.
Good luck, brah.

A tip for GTA Online: Survivals are a great way to make fast cash.
Make it all the way through Wave 10, you get $20k. There are a few missions that pay out more, but this is the fastest and easiest way to make money online.
But, you'll wanna get a full team of 4 players together, because the less people you have, the harder it is to survive all 10 waves.
Also, if you want a survival that's not too hard to beat, Boneyard is my personal pick.

If you only have 1 or 2 stars, the easiest way to lose those stars is to get out of your car and run to, and hide in a bush.

- Easiest way to lose the cops is drive up the nearest mountain.
- Michael's family is so annoying.
- Add me (yekl11) and join the Grand Theft Oppo crew when you're ready for online. Oh and learn the map before you do that. You will need to know the quickest escape routes from just about anywhere.

i know this post is old, so deal with it.
Pick up GTA: San Andreas. You can get it on mobile devices now. It's close to 10 years old, and the visuals didn't hold up well (GTA V is insane), but the story is great and very entertaining. Also, so much fun in the map and in the small details.
I've had about 2 hours of play time in GTA V and it's simply amazing.

I might do that. I'm about done with GTA V 's story mode and have made a bit of progress in GTA Online since I commented on your post last week; it's been a really fun game.
