I won't second your request because the request should always be first, and if it's second to something even it it's the same request it's not as good. I can tell this by thinking about it, and I also want a waymoe post.

And this is why I love Oppo. Well played Salvador. Well played.
EDIT: Should have read the image credit up there in the corner. I just assumed this was some of Dali's work.

I thought about posting Dali, or maybe Hieronymus Bosch. But I liked this image.

It is a good one. I'm pretty much a Philistine when it comes to art, so when I see surrealism the only artist I can think of is Dali. So instead of actually taking a good look at it I replied based on my first instincts.

There's a reason most surreal art looks like Dali. He is by far the most famous surrealist, and most of the work that followed was so heavily influenced by him. You should check out the work of Hieronymus Bosch. A lot of it is straightforward Renaissance portraiture and allegory (he had to make a living, after all), but some of it looks like he was dropping acid. He was the first true surrealist, but he was painting back around 1500. Remarkably trippy stuff, the stuff of nightmares. Way outside the box for his time.
And if you like Dali, check out this collaboration he did with Walt Disney. Also very, very trippy. "Trippy" is not a word they generally use in art school, but I didn't go to art school.
