Go help me but I do love a good alfa, I have a DD that barely gets driven. (I DD the subway, hate NYC for that) However this seems to be a nice price. Your thoughts? Right now its a pipe dream. However I find it sexy looking automobile.

With a few more pictures, more specifically of the drivers side front ( looks purposefully omitted), interior ( Verde Recaros can wear pretty fast) and undercarriage ( rust) I would say NP. Clean Milano Verdes can go into the 6k range and if properly sorted are one of the best driving sedans you can get.

If it has everything british replaced, is it still a proper Triumph? It might actually be a 'good car' now, but you don't buy a TR4 because you want a 'good car', you want a car that sucks in every measurable way but is somehow more than the sum of its parts.

Also, a buick V6 is lazy. Put in something that's suitable for the car. That could either be a tractor engine because the TR4 engine was originally developed for a tractor (srsly), or put in something suitable for a sports car. Not something you just happen to have lying around.

Beautiful exterior (repainted?), fantastic wheels, good service history, but the stuff that's left on the needs-list is a little finnicky and a pain in the butt. Price seems a touch high for the miles and the needs left, although from the exterior shots it certainly looks the part.

this one has been around for sale for a while. If I remember correctly it is a Verde, but somehow has a 2.5 engine in it, instead of the 3.0. I have a silver with the 2.5, it goes ok, but was half that to buy

Having spent a week with a Milano Verde (not mine, but I got it as a loaner from the Imported car dudes when they somehow managed to install the new clutch BACKWARDS in my 164-S (I mean seriously WTF?)) I say DO IT.

I dislike. It's not even the 3.8 that bugs me. That car in that condition makes me think of what would happen if a guy with a lowrider had to build a Triumph. Not that there's anything wrong with lowriders, just, certain things that make one car can break another.
