That's the ONLY practical use I can see from having them installed. I'd have a car like that if and only if I live in a very flood-prone area.

I'd never be caught *seen* with a donked car. They shouldn't exist. That picture did make me laugh though

During the Renaissance, affluent people wore pointed shoes. In order to show that one person was more affluent than the other, they made the points on their shoes longer. Eventually, in an ongoing effort to one-up each other in signs of affluence, the points on the shoes got so long that they had to tie them up around their calves. It went from being kind of silly to outright ridiculous. ( Ridiculous comes from the Latin word meaning laughable , and now has come to mean deserving or inviting derision or mockery; absurd .) Clearly, this donk has risen to the level of absurdity, and probably deserves mockery, but it's really just another illustration of human nature in action.

I find it highly appropriate that it says "What's next???" on the side. It's like they know they have pushed the bounds of ridiculousness, and now don't know where to head.
