This just in from Muscle Milk Pickett Racing's Twitter account:
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
That's carbon fiber, which means that their TBA entry for the Prototype category in next years United Sports Car Championship will not be a Daytona Prototype, but rather an LMP2 car or a DeltaWing. I suspect that it is going to be an LMP2 car.
This brings the count in the Prototype category to 6 LMP2 cars, against 6 full season DP entries.

Why do you say it won't be a DP because it's a picture of carbon fiber? DPs have carbon bodies, wings, underfloors, etc.
So I don't think it rules anything out.

Ironically, I am about to finish my last bucket of Muscle Milk before I move on to big kid protein. I am using the word ironic very loosely.
In car related news, can't wait for USCC to start!

Fair enough. I don't believe the Muscle Milk will consider a DP on the grounds that Mr. Pickett finds them revolting.
I believe the Nissan GTR GT3 car seen testing at Silverstone today in TUSCC spec is probably destined for the Muscle Milk team.

That is a strong possibility, and a welcomed one. That would however mean they are racing in 3 out of the 5 classes. That's a lot.

I think Nissan is throwing some money behind some of it and the PC program I believe is paid for by gentleman/paying drivers.
That will only require logistics, etc. and Level 5 proved you can effectively run several similar programs at once.
