The FP QOTD was not amusing me as I had hoped, mainly because it has now turning into a BMW driver/Turn signal circle jerk.

So I present something that requires a little more Google-Fu to succeed in.

Which successor looked worse than the predecessor? Which car took the love of the old one and ran it into the ground with dodgy design choices?

I'll pick the TL. You have that handsome beats up above to this...thing down below. Honestly Acura, what the hell were you thinking? Old TL is one of the nicest looking cars I've ever seen, honestly. Its just clean and crisp and to the point. New TL is....blarg. Bleh. Meh. Ugh. GTFOOOO.

And I will make a list. An arbitrary list. Because I'm open to bribery for that #1 spot.

Totally agree, and did not think of those. The 1st gen was decent looking; simple, clean. The 2nd gen was nice good. Looked kind of tough, in a weird rounded kind of way. Then they went and ruined it.

I'm going to get a lot of arguments for this, but any Corvette produced after this body style:

I know the C2 is also an extremely beautiful car, specially the '63 split window, but for me it's the style introduced in '58 that's the most lustworthy.

Gen III to Gen IV Dodge Dakota. Traded really nice toned-down Ram styling with better curves and a sporty appearance to poorly executed 'big truck' look with sharp corners everywhere. Now wonder sales plummeted.

yeah... The Del sol would've looked much better without those stupid fog lamps up front... well.. the FRONT of the car woul've looked much better.. That rear end is something only a mother could love.. Like Humpty Dumpty, not all the kings men can save that..
