Kinja'd!!!

The wifey and I are headed to Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls, Sao Paulo (Senna all the things!), and Rio for 2 weeks.

I know we got a couple Jalops in or near these cities (BlazinAce, Hermann, etc) and I know several of us have visited, so do you guys have any recommendations? I've read up a a lot of the touristy areas that are on Tripadvisor and various forums, so I'd love to try out some hidden gems or things that are off the beaten path (but still safe).

Also, the main (read: only) reasons I'm headed to Sao Paulo are Senna, Senna, and Senna. I want to do everything possibly Senna related. Oh, also Senna.

Well, i hope you like Brazil, i actually live in the capital(Brasília) so i cant really help but if youre going to São Paulo, be sure to check "Avenida Europa" the biggest concentration of "exotic cars" dealerships in South America, Ferrari, Porsche etc etc... there are some dealerships specialized in "classics" there too..

my fiance and I (mostly my fliance) are considering a Brazilian vacation for our honeymoon. I personally want to see and visit the "not too big" towns. BlazinAce was telling me about a couple spots near the southern coast, but she wants to see the Cristo. We'll figure it out soon enough though. You rad dudes enjoy your trip, Senna all things, and report back safe and soon :]

So much beef. All the beef. Off of an outdoor parrilla. Live like a King. Repeat.

"De nada" in the answer to muito obrigado hahaha its cool, just be carefull with the violence, people think rio is bad but in reallity every big city here in Brazil is kinda problematic, and beware of cab drivers, theyre probably gonna try to charge in dollars but every "taximeter" as we call the machine that gives the price by law around here always has the value in reais! and have a good trip man, always good to see jalops coming around here!

Hey!

Yep. I live in São Paulo. Ask whatever you want.

Tips, if you're in São Paulo on a Saturday, there's a bar called Pé No Porão Rally Bar. They have not only one of best Feijoadas in town, but it's also Rally themed (it's owned by a Rally driver).

If you want Senna related stuff, most awesome stuff is owned by people and museums, not really available for the general public. I used to live besides the Interlagos race track and even there, there's nothing much to see besides the track itself. And if you happen to go there, I have to warn you it's a very dangerous neighbourhood (one of the reasons I GTFO).

You might be able to drive a Kart there, though. It's about 40USD for half hour, and it's on the tiny Kart track inside the Interlagos track. But hey, you'll be able to say you've driven in the Ayrton Senna kart track! (Last time I've driven there, the karts were so slow, that if you kept a nice racing line you never had to lift)

There's the Ayrton Senna tunnel, which is just a regular tunnel with an awesome name. But it's nice to take pictures of the signs:

There are lots of car related stuff, and I wish I could point you something specific for a Jalop. There are nice places like Avenida Europa, but it's 97% exotics, but nothing really special you would only see here.

The Iguaçu Falls are awesome. Make sure you do the "Trilha do Macuco" ride and go to the "Parque das Aves". The Trilha do Macuco might cost you some extra bucks, but believe me: it's awesome.
