I can already see Rosalina putting a good spin on things. That range game is gonna be pretty legit.
The new Zelda is being co-developed by the Dynasty Warriors crew, which explains the gameplay a bit. I guess it's meant to be more of a spin-off. There will probably be multiple playable "heroes" though, so that's pretty exciting.

Not sure about that new Zelda. I really want to play the new one on the 3ds though, just can't justify it for one game. If only Mega Man Legends 3 wasn't cancelled:(

Traditionally Link has been my favorite character but I can see Rosalina being my new favorite Smasher.
Yeah I heard about the Dynasty Warriors bit and it'll be interesting having allies and possibly multilayer

Finally I can post again... Anyways, having skipped the Wii, and with the retrocompatibility between the Wii and the WiiU, there's actually a good chance I'll buy a new console for christmas this year, a little over a decade since my last one.
I'll have to see the "Hyrule Warriors" firsthand before passing on judgement, but I remember being somewhat bored playing the original Dynasty Warriors, plus I always liked how most enemies in Zelda had "meaning" that is, they weren't there just for fillers, like the thousands of nameless orange creatures on the treailer. It could work with the Zelda theme though, maybe tie in with the demon wars described on the manga at the end of Hyrule Historia and leading into the land in the sky from Skyward Sword... That would be awesome.
