Some of my own, many of those I heard first hand from other cabbies.
A friend of mine, he had a knife pulled on him. This kid, the police said he was early 20's, tried to rob him. My friend, he didn't grow up nice and this wasn't a shit your pants kind of thing for him like it would be for most rational people. Apparently it goes like this; kid pulls the knife and says give me all your money, my buddy says no and asks why he should. The kid says because he has a knife and my friend says yeah, but right now you don't have an airbag and goes right at the nearest parked car.
He was fine. Kid not so much, though he lived to tell the tale. I was working that night and arrived to the aftermath. My buddy, he had a bit of a bloodied nose but that was it. Said the kid left on a stretcher.
Life lessons.
Myself, I once drove a lesbian bordello to the 'burbs. No joking. These three girls get in the back from one of the clubs, and I'm a young man at this point, and their dude escort buddy climbs up front. We're not two minuets into the ride when the three in the back are... well, let's keep it SFW but you can use your imagination. They're not unpretty either, pretty much the very pretty opposite. It's an enjoyable ride, to say the least, and I'm kind of all over the road and when we get where we're going they start the hot tub talk, as in you should come inside with us, cabbie, and have a hot tub.
The thing about being in a committed relationship is this; while it's okay to look, it's not even okay to look. Get my drift?
I pleasantly declined, received a monstrous tip and drove away with my monstrous tip. Get my drift?

The monstrous tip was for driving them safely to their destination, right? Right? I'm not even close am I?
