I am finally in good enough shape (and off enough meds) to have beer again! I may not be able to walk or drive a car for another two months, but at least now I have beer to keep me company!

It's a small victory, I know, but it is seriously lifting my spirits right now. I decided it was worth it to dig deep into my beer fridge tonight and break out some of the nice bottles of geuze that I have been saving. Beer has never tasted so good.

I remember the time I finished a temp job I really really hated. That was the best tasting Kokanee I have ever had. Congratulations on the recovery buddy. Here's to you sir!!

Hahaha, well it's true. To this day, I have never had a more refreshing one than that one. I am sure you're in that boat right now. Still crutches??

Yep. I actually use a walker around the house because it is a little more stable, and I use crutches when I leave the house because I can cover more ground on them. I can't put any weight on the leg for another 2 months :(

Thanks! I seem to healing up pretty well, actually. That doesn't mean that the doctors will let me walk any sooner, but at least I am not in any pain at this point, and there is hope that there wont be much in terms of lasting problems.
