No, but seriously, this movie is fucked up on so many different levels that if you told someone what it was about they wouldn't believe you. If there had been a voice recorder in the room when I watched it the only things you would of heard would of been "What the fuck...", "FUCK!", "NOOOOO!", and finally "WHAT FLIPPITY FRICK FRACK PATTY WACK SHIP SHACK POO PACK JUST HAPPENED?!". That being said, it is a really fucking good movie and about the best way they could of ended Evangelion.

You wouldn't believe me if I told you. Just watch End of Evangelion.

Also watch the original series, kind of a prerequisite.

I made it through 1.0, and half way through 2.0 so far.

Okay okay. What you need to do... is watch the TV show before you finish 2.0.
1.0 and 2.0 more or less follows the TV show, then goes off the rails, and you really need to have watched the End of Evangelion movie (which complements the TV show ending) before you watch 3.0 or you'll be even more confused.
This is the most confusing anime IP ever produced.

Yeah I just kinda sat there thinking "so this must be what it feels like to be on acid".

I didn't even know there was a show lol. That explains the hefty jump in story time line though lol.

I don't even think acid could reach the level of End of Eva.

Do you reckon this is NSFW?
The entire Evangelion series has enough traumatic moments to scar a person's life several times over.

That's not safe for life. Thanks for reminding me that End of Evangelion made me physically ill at points.

I think you meant Ep. 25-26, not 24-25.
It really depends on whether or not you want to end up feeling "OMFG, WTF was that?" at the end or "I guess that was nice, but WTF?" at the end.
I say Joe Limon saves all the insane WTFery till the end and watch the TV episodes before End of Evangelion.

Not at all subtle with disturbing quasi-sexual imagery .

You may be right, but I'm not going to test that hypothesis. All I know is I wound up putting on Monty Python's Flying Circus to regain a sense of sanity after it was over.

Then find yourself a copy of Evangelion:Redeath and giggle like a schoolgirl.

"What the fuck...?" was the reaction everyone had, after staring at the screen in silence for seven minutes straight.
No true answer ever came.
