Let me just add my own thoughts to this.

If you share your own comment (or someone else's) from another article, and it doesn't stand up on its own as a relevant post, there is a decent chance that it will be unshared.

This is more or less an unspoken rule in terms of Oppo. And I can codify it if needed. I treat these posts as spam, as they just take up space and generally are distracting without contributing. There are exceptions, and I leave them when they exist. But a lot of the shares to oppo end up just being out of context and are generally nothing but self promotion, or attempts at shaming.

If you feel proud enough to share your post, then write up something which links to it. And provides some context.
