I can't really see the wheels, they kind of look like Volk TE-37's which are hugely popular right now

TE37's look good on damn near just about everything
but a guy driving a NSX on volks should be able to afford better than poverty beam HID's, did that generation NSX even have standard HID's? Those are to blue to be stock.

I think they were halogen for most of its lifespan.

thats what I figured, I know they had projectors, especially on the face lifted models, but that doesn't mean its just HID compatible

Yeah, I may have seen this particular car around the city once or twice.

Too much camber on the rear wheels, and he should probably should have gone one inch less on the diameter, but TE37s are actually superbly engineered for lightness, strength and rigidity.

TE37SL, to be exact.

I'm not into stance either and I wouldn't classify this as stance. (It's just lowered. a lot :)
The difference is that this NSX looks great .
Like somebody else said, yeah the wheels seem a tad too big, but I'd say they are at the limit now, so that's not a huge deal.
TE37's are tied for my favorite wheels ever. But I do prefer the flat face version better.

The suspension and wheel setup is definitely leaning towards cosmetic rather than performance.

Please tell me he drives it in anger occasionally. The NSX is too good to just be lowered and cruised.

Needs a little less drop. Ten it would be perfect! Volks aren't to badly priced when you compare them to HRE. Yes their wheels are beautiful, but they aren't light enough to justify the cost. Just get RPF1s, they probably weigh the same.

I wouldn't deny that - my point was that I just consider stance to be concerned not only with making a car "look good" (which is very subjective - "stance" being the case in point) but utilizing extreme camber to do so.
The NSX certainly doesn't use extreme camber and is still
at the very least
moderately functional I'd say.

The stance scene is all about wheel fitment, and sitting "hella flush". The extreme camber stuff is something else.

Hmm I suppose I haven't been spending enough time on VWVortex...
Gotta brush up on my car subcultures o_O
Whatever the hell "stance" is, I don't really care - I see the NSX you posted and I'm like, "that's a nice NSX". Immediately after, I'll instinctively do some nitpicking (honestly not much in this case), but I'll usually keep that to myself. I don't think there's any reason to be ashamed by liking how this NSX looks.
