First year licensed, first real snow. 'Twas enjoyable. Plus, the snow sprayed on the fenders looked cool.

Aw come on now, don't be a pansy with your wipers up like that. Only necessary for freezing rain.

Glad it was fun! I'm considering selling mine again though. Hopefully someone else will find it just as fun.

Its cold as balls right now. If I didn't have the defroster and wipers going the entire time, it started to freeze up.
I'm actually cleaning mine up and listing it for sale tomorrow. They're great cars, but they're old and Euro. I just put in a new radiator and its about to need a new power steering pump, and I don't make very much...

That's a good intro to the low grip life...

You can buy a rebuilt kit and they really aren't too bad to put new seals in if you know what you're doing. I did it with mine.

Where do you live anyway? I guess I forgot to take that into consideration and figured you were somewhere like here. It's only down to 25 here, which is pretty much ideal for snowy weather.

Have no fear; empty parking lot with my dad who was teaching me. He used to race, so he's a pretty good guy to learn car control from. Plus, I sometimes forget he knows what he's doing and get. a great surprise when he goes for the handbrake.

Looking to sell...? Really? I was just gonna come in on here and gush at the CQ's beauty for a little while. So, I need to ask... where, how much, and any more details...? I've wanted one for a while, and for the right price you may have me interested...

Well for starters, I'm in Connecticut. I got the car around something like a year ago, and had it brought over here via closed-carrier. It's a '91, so the engine had a few tweaks over previous years, the interior has some more wood, and it has a sunroof. The big one to note, though, is it's got 84k miles. Not so low for your typical car, but ridiculous for a 20v Audi. It runs like new, sounds great, (we dropped the resonator and basically just straight-piped that side; It sounds terrific. Burble on downshifts, a pretty good amount of volume, and some Subaru-esque catflap) and is tons of fun. Handles well, but is really comfortable anywhere else. It averages around 20 MPG, which isn't great, but hey. I have records, I'm just not sure how early they span and I'm currently in bed, but I'll check on that asap. Just got a new radiator, new front pads, and struts. The ultra-rare Speedline wheels are not only in perfect shape, (which is not so common) but we have a spare that the PO gave us (no tire currently mounted).

The bad;

-There's a small crack on the front bumper. It's probably a 1/16th of an inch wide, and two inches long. It's not really even the bumper, more of a piece of trim above the bumper. Easily reparable, I just never did it.

-The rear bumper has a weird set of scratches on it. There's a pretty good amount, but they're not that deep. It's from one of the previous owners, so I have no idea what it is. It almost seems like the backed into a bush at a pretty good speed.

-Rust: Barely any. There's one tiny bubble that's a bit smaller than a penny that's occuring near the sunroof.

-A/C: Not currently working. It blows, just not cold. We've tried a lot to get it fixed, but haven't fixed it yet. I just used the windows in the Summer, but that's personal preference.

-It has had a repaint. The PO said it was vandalized in a church parking lot. The left side has had a repaint, and the mirror has been remounted (due to being knocked off). Although it's really hard to match the Pearl White, it's a pretty good repaint, and is hard to tell it's been repainted at all. The mirror whistles on the highway, but doesn't move or do anything unpleasant (it basically behaves like nothing happened, just some additional noise)

-It sat. The reason for the low mileage is it gained something like 2,000 miles from 2006 until 2013 before I got it (don't quote me on that though. Not 100% positive, but its on the records). This means that its got a few weird, unexplainable kinks. The power steering pump is making a lot of noise, but that will be replaced before I sell it. One of the belts is slipping under strain (almost positive its the Alternator belt), but that will be tightened the same day the new pump goes in, if not sooner. The big one; it's burning oil at a decent rate. We assume this is just because of sitting, but it seems like every 500-600 miles or so, it wants a quart.

It has a couple of little kinks which are easily manageable, I just haven't gotten around to fixing them yet due to my current lack of knowledge of repairs and my dad's busy schedule, since he's the one who usually teaches me. It's been enthusiast owned since the start, is pretty much bone stock aside from the resonator removal and a European headlight swap, and was honestly and truly babied. I wash it every single week, wax it every other, and have clayed it twice in my short ownership. Super low miles, plus it's a real attention-getter. I get thumbs ups and questions all the time, ranging from people driving sports cars, supercars, hypercars, and minivans.

If you're close, want more details or pictures, or want to talk price, feel free to email me at danny.kruger0@gmail.com.

Also, sorry for the essay.

I just talked to my dad, and apparently I got a few huge details wrong, so sorry about that. First off, it doesn't actually burn oil. I somehow was not aware that a quart was basically an entire bottle. It uses way less than that, probably 1/8th every two weeks to a month, depending how much I drive it. Apparently this is a pretty regular amount (It just seemed like a lot because my prior car barely used any oil for anything, and only needed to be topped off every month or two).
Also, for records, we have them since 2001. The PO was a collector (Had an UrS4 in the garage upon selling the CQ) and the car was driven 1000 miles from 2001 until my ownership.
Also, the heating/defrosting work perfectly and fine. It's just the A/C that needs something.
Everything else works. The diff locks fine, all electronics are good, etc etc. Nothing fails to function.
I understand that obviously, going back and changing details can be a bit suspect, but it truly was my own lack of knowledge. Let me know if you're still interested.
