My mom got me a nice electrical impact wrench! First one I've ever had and I've needed it for ages. Maybe now I can get the spacers off the 924...

Just a note, this will not withstand a full speed throw at the floor.....
Trust me.
Lesson learned today.

What's the torque rating?

Honda.

200 Ft/lbs... not bad for a first. Should take off lug nuts with ease hopefully.

Ouch. What happened? I hope to not drop this on the floor :P

Motor no longer spins.
I tihnk I broke the trigger.
I was in a bad mood for a list of reasons I can expand on, but the last straw was a motherfucking lug nut on a Grandfuckingcaravan.
Battery went ten feet one way, socket was launched into orbit and the gun settled itself next to the tire machine.

Nice score! I have a similar model and it's so much nicer than dragging an air hose around the garage.

I've never actually used an air impact wrench, and before getting this I was researching starting an air setup and buying a compressor and stuff. But I believe this was under 100 dollars so it's honestly a lot cheaper than a good compressor and a good impact...

Best hope they're not rusted on. And reminder, never impact lugs onto alloys.

I'm sorry to hear :( did you end up getting the lug out?

With a big hammer and a 1 inch drive air gun
Was over kill, but I got a lot of anger out on that mini van.

Thanks for the tip!

When you do eventually decide to invest in an air compressor, get an impact driver over 400 ft-lbs, I had to get a heavy duty one over the summer. I only ran into 1 bolt I couldn't get free with that and a torch. My dad and I used a three foot cheater-pipe on a breaker bar and used our legs to get it. Damn rusty BMW break bolts.

I almost took an escalating series of wrenches and jack stands to a Ford Contour due to a lug, so I know that feel.

It's worth the savings. From my experience, an air setup is a bit excessive for most cases. There are a few times it comes in handy though, particularly the tool flexibility.

Thank god I'm not the only one.
I think Fridays do this to me. It always seems like a friday is when I freak out at work and start yelling and screaming random stuff.
Last friday a couple of customers heard me scream at the top of my lungs "GET OF THE CAR YOU FUCKING SHITTY WHEELS!"
The wheels had sealed themselves to the fucking car.
I had the biggest hammer to them and still no luck

Yep, I agree. And air tools sound awesome. Eventually I will invest into in air setup but my funds at the moment don't allow for that. :(
