98 Saturn, driving like an asshat: 34.4 (winter blend, regular 87, forgot to check tire pressure till halfway through the tank)
Muh economy.

My last tank lasted 175 miles, 12 gallons to refuel, less than 15mpg. Me boosta.

People are shocked when I say I'm getting around 25. I like listening to the engine sing, not hum along at 2k RPM.
On the other side, I told a customer I bought a turbo Dart and he said, "wow, so whats that doing 60mph in? Like 4 seconds?" He seemed just a bit disappointed when I said more like 8 seconds. Truth is that it's not much faster than my Focus was, mostly because the Dart is a pig but the gearing conspires against it too. I'm shifting twice before 60.

I hit 60 in second.
In a drag race I hit the top of third gear as I cross the line.
My gearing is perfect haha.
but yeah people are shocked when I tell them I get shit gas mileage.
I have over 300whp at my control.....I wanna see them roam.

Shit, my Jetta has been getting like 20 on winter blend. But that probably has a lot to do with my 2.5 mile each way commute, it never even moves off the low stop on the temp gauge.

2nd tops out at like 40 or 50 for me. 3rd gear is very usable though, from like 25 to 70. I just love the sounds my car makes. It makes up for the lack of power.
Have you taken your car to the strip?

Took mine to the strip ran a 12.6 once. Usually I can get a low 13 or high 12
3rd is good til about 100-120 4th is good up to 160ish and then 5th is claimed to 190+

Wow that's C6 territory. And I lied. Its 50 in 2nd, 80 in 3rd, and I took it up to 120 this morning. I didn't push any further.

You know to take it for a solid drive every few days, right?

Actually for a while when I first got the car, I thought that I had a blown headgasket due to the milky white sludge that was building up under my oil cap. So, naturally, I did what any other car enthusiast would do with a car they were convinced was on its last leg and not really worth fixing, I started rallycrossing it. Much to my surprise, it not only lived through a few weeks of me abso-fucking-lutely thrashing it, but the white sludge disappeared. Now I give it a good Italian tune up every week or so to evaporate all the moisture out of the oil.

It's a car, it pisses people off when they see that a Cobalt pulls on them on the highway.
I've taken the car to 160 and let off.
I was on a flat highway at 1 am going home.
I knew the cops wouldn't bother if they saw me, they can't chase around here over 100

I'm sure we'll be publicly shamed now, like no one else has ever sped like that. I hit 130 in a Chally R/T at work, that's the fastest I've ever driven in any car.

I've done 175 in a car that shall remain unnamed. The car is no longer around, I scrapped it for obvious reasons.
As for being publicly shamed, I don't care. I own up to what I do, but I don't do it in traffic, or during the day time. I do it at night with no other cars around haha
