True story:
A friend from PA took an internship in TX many years ago and sold his car to buy a CBR600F2 while he was there over the summer (naturally). He arranged to rent a car and trailer to drag the CBR and his stuff home from TX. When he arrived at the car rental agency, the agent showed him the car and trailer. The car had no hitch. My friend asked if they would provide a car with a hitch. They said no. They went back and forth many times and finally my friend left the rental car place with just the car... This is where shit gets real... He partially disassembled the car and CBR and put the motorcycle IN the car along with his stuff jammed in every nook and cranny. He drove from TX to PA that way and unloaded the car, returned it to 'stock', and then dropped it at the rental agency. Moving win !
