Will VW bite the bullet and send Audi or Lamborghini in F1? Will GM want to prove that they can do what Toyota wasn't able to do, win F1 races? Will a Chinese or Indian car maker gonna bite more than they can chew, enter and finish last? Will..... Sorry, I don't know anymore car makers willing to throw money in F1, just to get their ass kicked by an energy drinks company.

From what I understand Chad Hurley (from YouTube and USF1 investment fame) is trying to assemble a group of American investors to launch an team to take the 12th spot. As Mr. Hurley did not spend a great sum on the USF1 project and was wary to begin with, it seems his enthusiasm has not been dimmed by the lack of honesty by certain individuals.

If anybody could challenge Red Bull, it would probably be VW, but at the same time they have so much invested in endurance racing that I don't know if they would want to tack on an F1 team too.
On a side note, while Red Bull did start out as (and still is) a drink manufacturer, I consider them an engineering firm that also makes drinks at this point.
