The last new beer in the seasonal sampler I picked up a little bit ago.

I'm drinking a Tempest Imperial Stout by Amsterdam Brewery [out of Toronto]. I'm not a fan of stout beers but I am a pretty big fan of the brewery so I figured I'd give it a try.
It's heavy but smooth, rather malty with a definite warming spice. 9% alc/vol.

I'm jealous. I've been offshore for almost 3 weeks. I miss the sweet sweet taste of beer.

I had two glasses of water.
I might as well have a Centrum Silver pill with a Geritol chaser.

I just picked up a 6er of this yesterday.i saw red ale and didn't pay attention to anything else on the label. To me, it's quite similar to regular blue moon, with sweet/citrusy notes to it. I was expecting something a little different. In fact, I'll go grab another and give it another shot.

For a college kid this may as well be gold. But enjoy your birthday brews!

Its super similar to regular Blue Moon. A little spicier though.

Haha.. Yes, my go to beer had been adopted by hipsters.. I'm not worried though, soon it will fall out of style and they'll be drinking high life or some other variant. Then, when I'm saving for car parts I won't have to drink pbr in fear of coming across as some douche..

It's actually kind of funny where I'm at because some bars have started jacking up the price of PBR because of the hipster crowd. Well I suppose it's not funny if you're a PBR drinker, but I get a kick out of seeing it cost more than beers I know are more expensive elsewhere.
