Frankly, I think he's brilliant...or he is being coerced to be. He knows the Jalopnik community (which is a staple of the gawker network, btw) will get outraged and rageview the page into heaven...which drives up page views and increases potential ad revenue for 2014. Its a super douche move, but not one that is out of place in the Dentonverse.

In all seriousness though, that was honestly hilarious yesterday. Despite being a flamboyant bus-riding, scarf-wearing, Bon Iver-listening, tea-sipping, vegetarian, car-hating, hippie dipshit, you did facilitate some entertaining shenanigans for us Jalops and Opponauts. If it was click-bait, as many here have suspected, that's fanfuckingtastic because I'd say we were all winners in that case. I hope someday, you find yourself in the passenger seat of a proper sports car (I say passenger seat because I'd give you about a .2% chance of being a decent driver) next to a good driver, capable of revealing the joy of the automobile to you, thus allowing you to find true peace and happiness.
Hey, you never know, I go to a liberal arts college, maybe someday I'll understand the virtues of suffering a coronary every time a plastic bottle flies into a trashcan or becoming enraged at the sight of smoke pouring off the tires of a Corvette because we need to think of the children and how we're harming their environment!
Probably not though. I'll continue to love cars, and you'll continue to love pea coats and fancy coffee, as it should be.
